Why can’t I use the bank account I used before?

It might be possible that the bank account you previously used is not held at a financial or payment institution authorized by the Central Bank of Brazil. After 06/11, you will only be able to deposit or withdraw using accounts from authorized institutions. You can find the full list of authorized institutions here.
