What happens in case of technical failure or poor-quality transmission of a virtual event?

The quality of transmission and the proper functioning of the system are essential for the experience of virtual events. However, technical failures or electronic issues may occur.

Cases where bets may be voided and refunded

If there is a malfunction in the online gaming system, all bets will be voided, as stated in section 17.2.1 of our Terms & Conditions. Additionally:

  • If a virtual event is interrupted due to a system failure, Betano may refund the bet amount to the player’s account.
  • If the failure results in lost accumulated credits, they will also be refunded to the user’s account or paid through an approved method.

Cases where bets remain valid

If the virtual event is correctly completed and the result is recorded in the database, it will be considered valid regardless of transmission or display failures. In such cases:

  • Bets remain valid if the result has been properly processed, even if the transmission was affected.
  • If there is a delay in display or lack of synchronization in the streaming, this does not affect the validity of the bets, as the result has already been determined and stored in the system.

Liability limitations

Betano is not responsible for technical failures, delays, or transmission interruptions that may impact the display of the virtual event. Additionally:

  • Betano does not accept liability for losses resulting from connection failures, delays, or platform errors.
  • If a user’s session is interrupted due to inactivity for more than 30 minutes, they must log in again before continuing to play.
