How do I set financial limits on my account and how do they work?

To set limits on your account, go to Player Protection and choose which of the following limits you'd like to apply:

Deposit Limit
You can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits to manage your budget more effectively. Once activated, the chosen limit remains in effect for the selected period (daily, weekly, or monthly) and is automatically reset at the end of that period.

If you wish to increase your deposit limit, the change will take effect after a mandatory 24-hour waiting period. Reductions, however, take effect immediately.

Loss Limit
The loss limit applies to the amount you lost from your initial deposit. For example, if you deposited R$100, won R$200 (totaling R$300), and then lost R$250, you still haven’t reached your R$100 loss limit, because the loss was only R$50 from your initial deposit. In other words, the loss limit only takes into account the amount lost from your deposited money, not your winnings.

Unsettled bets will also count towards your loss limit. If you're unable to place a bet, check your Betting P&L section to ensure that your unsettled bets haven't pushed you over your loss limit.

Bet Limit
Bet limits are applied as soon as they are set, and their duration is for a defined period (daily, weekly, or monthly). You will choose the maximum amount you want to spend/bet, and when the limit is reached, your account will be “locked” until the limit is automatically reset.

Bet Number Limits
Bet number limits help control your gaming activity by allowing you to set a maximum number of bets you can make within a defined period. This way, you can decide how many bets you want to make daily, weekly, or monthly.

A “bet” is defined as a single action: either a spin on the Casino or a ticket in Sports Betting. Once the limit is reached, no new bets will be accepted until the selected period resets.

Bet Time Limits
Bet time limits help manage your gaming habits by allowing you to set a daily limit on the number of hours you can spend placing bets. With this tool, you can configure a time restriction (from 1 to 23 hours) for the 24-hour period, which applies to all Betano products.

When the limit is reached, you will receive a notification, and no new bets will be accepted until the 24-hour period resets.

Withdrawal Cancellation Block
This limit is a feature that removes the permission to cancel withdrawals once they have been requested, ensuring and guaranteeing that the amount is withdrawn from the gaming account. This tool is designed to protect the customer from making impulsive decisions and to ensure that the withdrawal process is completed safely and responsibly.

Session Timer
This feature sends an alert with a summary of your financial activity and time spent in your current gaming session. The first alert is sent after 4 hours of continuous play, and subsequent alerts are sent every 2 hours.

When you receive the alert, you can choose to end the session or continue playing. Please note that this feature cannot be turned off.

Temporary Closure (Pause)
If you need a short break from gaming, the “Pause Period” feature allows you to temporarily restrict access to your account for 24 hours, 1 week, 1 month, or 6 weeks. This tool helps you take a break, reorient yourself, and return to gaming with a clearer mind.

Self-Exclusion
You can choose the “Self-Exclusion” option at any time in the Player Protection section of your account. The available pause options are 6 months, 12 months, 24 months, or permanently. This option is ideal for players who recognize that it’s time to take a step back and prioritize their well-being.

If you choose self-exclusion for the reason of addiction, your account will be immediately blocked from all products. This means you will no longer be able to log in or request the revocation of the self-exclusion. Additionally, any remaining balance will be sent directly to your bank account.

It’s important to note that by choosing self-exclusion, you can request revocation up to two times in the case of permanent self-exclusion and up to three times for temporary self-exclusion. After reaching this limit, you will no longer be able to request revocation.

Important:

  • Daily limits are calculated from the start of the day (00:00:00) to 23:59:59 on the same day, and the same applies to weekly and monthly limits.
  • If you wish to adjust any of your limits, simply make the change, and your request will be processed within 24 hours.
